Pinterest Attempt NAILED IT: S'mores Bites

Okay, so tonight I tried to make these little desserts I found on Pinterest called S'mores Bites. They looked easy enough, just a marshmellow, some chocolate, and a few graham cracker crumbs. How hard could it be?
Apparently this innocent-looking snack wasn't going to be see easy after all.
I got all my ingredients out and read the instructions. 1 Cup of Graham Cracker crumbs. Cool I can do that.
I'm all ready to cook :P

So then I got the butter and powdered sugar and mixed those things up. I was expecting something that looked similar to the photos.
That looks like a very small amount of graham cracker stuff....but if ya say so!

So the cups in my pan weren't even full let alone all the cups... did I do something wrong? Then I realized that I forgot to use a mini-muffin pan. Good going there Caroline. But the show must go on right?

I got to play with my marshmellows to make myself a friend. (say hi Fred)

Sooooo, yeah they didn't turn out at all like Pinterest said (though that is partly my fault) but they still tasted amazing. I got the stamp of approval from my family in the taste department so maybe I'll attempt these again, but with a different pan and approach. Even so, I think that it's safe to say this was a Pinterest Fail. #nailed it

Sorry for the long post! If you happen to make these successfully, please do leave a comment about how you were able to use your magic cooking powers and control the forces of food.
Ciao! ~Moi

(Here is the actual recipe though if you would like to try these out for yourself ;P http://princesspinkygirl.com/smore-bites/2/ )

Book Rating: The Maze Runner Series

Hello Viewers! So in honor of the second Maze Runner movie coming out soon, I thought it would be a good idea to give my personal rating on the books that inspired these movies. Sadly, I can't say that I read the books before watching the first movie, but after watching the movie last year, I read all four books.
Why yes, that is my signed copy of The Maze Runner ;)
(I apologize for the state of my nails though)
So first of all, my advice to all of you is to read the books before watching any more of the movies. Trust me, it explains the situation Thomas and the gang are in and gives more depth to the characters. (that was my book-nerd side taking over) I thought that overall, this series was great! On a scale of 1-10 I would give it an 9.5. The story-line is definitely captivating and James Dashner did a wonderful job. There are so many pros I don't know where to start. First off, there are plenty of plot-twists, and while I won't give anything away, there are many that you won't be prepared for. Also, the story itself isn't cheesy or just another new teenagers-overthrow-the-government type of thing. The characters are easy to connect with and I will admit I laughed and cried with these books. The only bad thing I would have to say are some of Dashner's choices with killing/not killing certain characters...like seriously dude, we get connected to these fictional kids. *sniff

Awww <3
Now the movies on the other hand could use some improvement. Although it's wonderful seeing Thomas Sangster and Dylan O'Brien on the screen playing our favorite characters, the first movie lacked many things. But I have heard that they are making some changes to the second movie to make it more like the book and therefore I am willing to give it a second chance. Let's go Scorch Trial!!! September 18th isn't too far away!
There is a difference people!

Mark the date and keep your schedules open! :D
Thank you for visiting my blog here. I hope that this post encourages you to read the books, and THEN watch the movies :P. Have a safe day/night/whatever time it is.
